Overview
Our building, Historic Fire Station 3, was designed in 1927 by famous architect Francis Abreu. The station was decommissioned in 2003 and the renovation into a Fire Museum was completed in 2008.
Our missions include preserving the historic station, sharing the legacy of service of the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department, displaying historic fire service artifacts and educating the public about fire safety.
ADMISSION IS FREE Your generous donations are vital to help preserve 98-year-old Historic Fire Station 3, and help us teach the importance of fire safety.
HOURS The Fire Museum is currently open
on the last Saturday of every month, from 10 am to 2 pm.
